Linus Coraggio

Linus Coraggio began drawing at age 1 and sculpting intricate cardboard sculptures at age 8. He attended Music and Art High School in New York City where he met and collaborated with other local artists.
Coraggio first began showing his sculpture in group exhibits in NYC while still studying for his BFA at SUNY Purchase. It was during this time that he invented a genre of street art called 3-D Grafitti.
Linus has done both public and private commissioned works for art organizations, universities and corporations in North America, Europe and Japan.
The current Coraggio Studio is in Bushwick, Brooklyn where he creates most of his welded sculptures and one of a kind furniture from metal he scavenges throughout the city and on his other travels.
