AMY SPEACE EAST COAST AND TEXAS TOUR DATES

AFTER AN EXTENSIVE RUN OF TOURING FROM THE UK TO SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST IN AUSTIN, REKNOWN SONGWRITER RETURNS TO HER ORIGINAL STOMPING GROUNDS

    Wildflower Records recording artist, Amy Speace, prepares for a number of dates up and down the East Coast including a trip down to Texas. The shows vary in scope from rural house-show benefits to opening support for the legendary Judy Collins in the heart of New York City, making this tour as sweeping and diverse as Speace's career. Meanwhile, Amy Speace is finding time in the studio to work on her upcoming Fall 2008 album release. With 16 dates confirmed, the tour will kick off on April 4^th in Blacksburg, VA.

About Amy Speace

     Since  age 5, Amy Speace has lived for music.  Starting with piano, she moved onto teaching herself to play rock songs on a $50 pawn shop guitar. The songs she penned personally has taken her on the road, extensively touring to an impressive and loyal grass-roots fan base. Her live performances deliver warmth and humor with lyrics that evoke a universal emotion from her supporters.

    Amy Speace’s third solo LP, Songs for Bright Street (2006, Wildflower Records) proudly flaunts her commanding voice, distinctive melodic sensibility and an uncanny knack for nailing complex emotional scenarios on each and every track. The album, released 2006 on Wildflower Records, has brought a good deal of critical acclaim and attention to this vibrant new performer.
